LightTails group announced a contest based on the theme Reflection for the last of week of November. I wanted to create an image that was more than my reflection on a mirror.
My neighbor was celebrating again and it was giving me ideas!
Setting
I borrowed my wife’s miniature elephant figure and put it on a mirror. Then I placed the mirror in-front of the wall of lights. The first shot looked like this :
So I knew I was on to something. I removed the mirror from the frame, took a photo of the jumbo and the reflection and pasted it on to a bokeh shot. I wanted to avoid the photoshopping. But the edge of the mirror were giving a bad feel to the bokeh.
